Zimbabwe & Zambia

I’ve resisted the wish to visit Zimbabwe for many years – I didn’t want to substain a dictatorship. At the end of 2017 I convinced myself and finally went, still full of doubts, to see this country – convincing myself that tourism is one of the few sectors that still works in Zimbabwe and where local people can find jobs. And so it happened that I was in Zimbabwe right during one of the historical moments – with the coup d’etat followed directly by the people dancing on the streets.

The country offers incredible landscapes – impressive rock formations, rich green wide sceneries. I had the impression to travel through a huge park when I was driving with the car from one National Park to the next – enormous trees, meadows, flowers…
